Dan Wilcoxen joins Bank of Springfield

Dan Wilcoxen has joined Bank of Springfield as senior vice president, effective Aug. 26.  Dan brings 16 years of extensive banking experience to BOS and most recently served as president at United Community Bank.  In his role, Dan will work closely with the management team on growth strategies and overall bank goals.

Prior to banking, Wilcoxen worked on the audit team at RSM US, LLP (formerly McGladrey & Pullen, LLP) and attained his Certified Public Accountant certification in 2007.

Wilcoxen received his bachelor of science degree in accountancy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and his master’s in accountancy from University of Illinois Springfield. 

Dan and his wife, Angela, live in Chatham and have three kids, Carly, Ben and Emma.

Bank of Springfield was founded in 1965 as a neighborhood bank on the southeast side of Springfield. BOS now serves 13 communities with locations in Illinois and Missouri.
