Katrina Bollard says her new business, New You Body & Soul, was originally launched because of her own desire for self-improvement.
“It was a service that I was interested in for myself. I didn’t have time or the funds to be able to go under the knife, or the downtime that I could take to recover,” Bollard said. She began researching alternatives to plastic surgery and discovered body contouring, which proponents say can stimulate collagen production, resulting in improved skin elasticity and tightening. At the time, she said these types of services were only available in Chicago or St. Louis.
Bollard launched her business in 2021, but recently opened a brick-and-mortar location at 3351 S. Sixth St., Suite 7.

Bollard said. “Ultrasound cavitation is used to explode the fat and for cellulite removal,” she said. The business also offers non-invasive facelifts that focus on tightening the skin and wrinkle removal.
In addition, Bollard said she works with clients who are seeking more than cosmetic treatments. “I have a lot of people who come to me for sciatica pain, and I use microcurrent paired with red light therapy. I try to get them back to where they’re able to do their regular job or hobbies,” she said. “I also see people after they’ve had a surgery. It covers a lot of different scenarios.”
