Chipotle Mexican Grill has opened a second Springfield location at 2325 N. Dirksen Parkway. It includes a drive-thru, in addition to the indoor dining area. The building formerly housed an HSHS Priority Care.
The fast casual Mexican company, based in California, has approximately 3,000 locations throughout the U.S. Chipotle opened its first Springfield location in 2008 at 2579 Wabash Ave.
The location will be open daily from 10:45 a.m.-10 p.m. The restaurant will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 24 and be closed on Dec. 25. There will also be an early closing at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 for New Year’s Eve.
