B's Creative Studio moves to new, larger location

Brandy Fletcher opened B’s Creative Studio in March of this year and has already moved to a larger location.

She initially opened at 2915 S. MacArthur Blvd. in a space next to Penny Lane. “We do a lot of classes for kids and adults, and we quickly outgrew that space,” Fletcher said. “Plus, we had so many vendors who wanted to be in the store.”

She had hoped to expand into an adjacent space but lost that option when the suite next door was turned into a gaming parlor. Fletcher decided to relocate the business to 1305 Wabash Ave., which gave her 1,800 square feet to expand.

She opened in the Wabash location on Nov. 26, thanks to “my parents and some amazing friends who jumped in and got stuff done” as far as helping her paint and decorate the new space.

Prior to opening a brick-and-mortar business, Fletcher had a photography business for 15 years before expanding into painting furniture, home décor and making personalized gift items, along with what she calls “Pinterest at your fingertips.”

Earlier this year, she told SBJ she wanted to have a retail location for her own products, as well as partnering with other local vendors and providing a studio space for adults and children to work on their own art projects.
