Momentum on Main Street will hold a training and networking event on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 5:30-7 p.m. The event at Boone’s, 301 W. Edwards, will focus on how to navigate the world of public funding. An interview and a Q&A session will be held from 5:30-6 p.m. with networking time to follow.
Presenters will include Ravi Doshi, TIF administrator for the city of Springfield; Kevin Lust of the Small Business Development Center, Alyson Grady from Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Kristen Willis from Justine Peterson.
Momentum on Main Street is a committee of Downtown Springfield, Inc. focused on getting more people interested in launching new businesses or taking on small redevelopment projects in the downtown area.
