Bank of Springfield (BOS) has announced the addition of new employees Greg Pettys, Beverley Chapman and Dave Heitbrink.
Greg Pettys has been hired as vice president of advanced markets and brings 36 years of financial services experience to BOS. He previously worked as a regional vice president for both The Hartford and Prudential Financial and was most recently an advanced market consultant for Synergy Wealth Solutions.
Pettys has worked with many individuals and organizations with responsibilities including executive benefits, charitable trust, assisting in the implementation of business transition strategies, complex wealth transfer and estate planning techniques, premium financed life insurance and bank-owned life insurance.
Beverley Chapman has been hired as the new trust administrative officer for BOS. She has held similar roles at both US Bank and Merrill Lynch and been part of the Springfield banking community for 29 years. Her experience includes wealth management and trust administration.
Pettys and Chapman will both be based out of the 3400 W. Wabash Ave. branch.
David Heitbrink joins BOS as vice president of financial services after previously owning and operating Heitbrink Asset Management from 2013 – 2021. Heitbrink will serve as an investment advisor with BOS Asset Management and work out the Jacksonville branch.
BOS was founded in 1965 in Springfield and now serves 10 communities with branches in Illinois and Missouri.
