The Springfield Park District and Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Black-Owned Business Vendor Fair on Sunday, May 2 from 1-4 p.m. at Erin’s Pavilion in Southwind Park.
“One of the many challenges that Black businesses owners are faced with is lack of exposure,” said Dominic Watson, president of the Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce. “Through our partnership with the Springfield Park District and Erin’s Pavilion, we can, in a unified manner, tackle this challenge head-on. We look forward to the community’s support in making this event a success.”
Businesses and organizations that will be represented include 12Ten Crafting, Devote Fitness, Garvey Tubman Cultural Arts and Research Center, Husssh, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Minnie Jean’s Taste of Soul Catering, Mor Jewelry, Revive Wellness and Massage Spa, Selfish Scents, Spa Nyne, Springfield Sylvan Learning Center and Tokyo Mini Mart N’ Wheels.
