Sean Mulhern has joined Morgan Stanley as a financial adviser. He previously worked for SB Financial, a subsidiary of Security Bank.

“The resources and tools of a firm like Morgan Stanley are really attractive; it was too good of an opportunity to pass up,” he said.

Mulhern graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in economics and finance.

“My dad is a financial adviser with Morgan Stanley in Peoria, and I made up my mind my sophomore year of college that’s what I wanted to do,” he told SBJ in a previous interview. “It’s a great opportunity to make an impact in people’s lives.”

After graduation, Mulhern participated in a training program through Midwestern Securities Trading Company while he obtained his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Mulhern is currently completing his training with Morgan Stanley at the firm’s Peoria office but will be based out of the Springfield office, 3201 W. White Oaks Dr., once COVID restrictions are eased.
