A “coming soon” banner for Ocean Crab has appeared at the former Show Me’s restaurant at 3101 S. MacArthur Blvd. According to Sangamon County tax records, the property was sold on Dec. 2 for $700,000 to Ocean Crab House, Inc.

That LLC is registered with the Illinois Secretary of State and lists Jinming Wu as the registered agent. Wu also owns Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffett, located in the nearby Town & Country Shopping Center on MacArthur.

Wu has a building permit on file with the City of Springfield for interior renovations to the former Show Me’s restaurant.

A recently created Facebook page for Ocean Crab House describes it as “Cajun seafood and bar.” Attempts to contact the owner for more details were unsuccessful.
