Ken Day has joined Security Bank as the Chief Financial Officer, effective May 4.
President and CEO Stephan Paul Antonacci said in a message to employees, “I am excited about the opportunity to work with him and believe that he will be a positive force for the bank and its culture.”
Day graduated from Milliken University with a degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has spent his entire career working in accounting, including at Kerber Eck and Braeckel where he focused on family-owned businesses, banks and construction companies. Most recently, he spent six years as the CFO of United Contractors Midwest.
Throughout Day’s career, he has been involved with several charitable organizations and served on multiple boards. He resides in Springfield with his family.
“I am excited to join the Security Bank team and look forward to the opportunities and challenges that come with this position.” Day said.
