Satch Pecori selected to chair board of Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation

Sergio “Satch” Pecori, longtime board member of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation, has been appointed chair of the board of directors. Pecori succeeds Ray McCaskey, who has completed his term as chair but will remain on the board for the private nonprofit that supports the educational and cultural programming of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.

“Ray has been a generous, devoted and steady leader during challenging times,” Pecori said. “On behalf of the board and the staff, I thank Ray for his contributions as chair and look forward to continuing to collaborate with him, the board, the talented staff and the incredible volunteers to ensure a successful future for our foundation, library and museum.”

Pecori is chairman and CEO of Hanson Professional Services Inc., an employee-owned engineering, planning and allied services company. He has served on the ALPLF board since 2006. His many professional and volunteer appointments include the board of directors for Illinois National Bank and Memorial Health System.

“I have worked closely with Satch for many years and understand that we are truly fortunate to have his leadership on our board,” said Sarah Phalen, ALPLF board treasurer and INB president. “He is brilliant, organized and thoughtful. He has served as a mentor to so many in our community and genuinely encourages others to succeed. He will work well with the ALPM board and our future CEO to help our entire institution fulfill its potential to be the best presidential library and museum in the country.”
