Building permit roundup – July 15 – July 21

Read which building permits were approved by the City of Springfield between July 15 and July 21, 2019.

Capital City Trust in care of Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. obtained a commercial remodel permit for interior improvements at 3143 S. Dirksen Pkwy. The project is valued at $225,000. It also obtained a commercial remodel permit for non-structural interior demolition work at the same address which is valued at $25,000.  Leading Edge Corporation is the contractor for both projects.

Bailey’s Place, Inc. obtained a commercial remodel permit for 4 S. Old Capitol Plaza to repair water damage. Milliman Construction is the contractor and the project is valued at $25,000.

South Grand Apartments in care of Midlakes Management, LLC obtained a commercial remodel permit for 721 W. South Grand Ave.  The contractor is unknown and the project is valued at $100,000.

The City of Springfield obtained a commercial accessory structure permit for cell tower at 1900 N. Factory St.  The contractor is unknown and the project is valued at $25,000.

Taylor Collision Enterprises, LLC obtained a commercial demolition permit for a shed demolition at 1501 S. Groth St. The contractor is Modern Paving and Scrap and the project is valued at $2,000. A fence permit was also obtained for the same address.  The owner is the contractor for that project which is valued at $2,000.

First Bankers Trust obtained a commercial demolition permit for a structure demolition at 2750 S. Sixth St. Jay Shirley, Inc. is the contractor and the project is valued at $6,000.

Capital City Coalition NFP obtained a commercial roofing permit for 1111 S. 19th St. Robert and Bobbi Beggs are the contractors and the project is valued at $18,500.

ULM Distribution, LLC obtained a commercial remodel permit for 1205 S. Second St. the contractor is Jennifer Maurer and the project is valued at $12,000.
