Chris Smith has joined the Land of Lincoln Credit Union as a senior vice president and chief compliance officer.
Prior to assuming his new role, Smith was vice president of internal audit, loan review and compliance officer at SCB Bancorp in Decatur. He has worked in the financial industry for more than 10 years, including at Security Bank in Springfield.

Chris’ background makes him a perfect fit for this role because of his extensive experience with risk assessment and quality control in financial institutions.”
Smith graduated from Millikin University with a bachelor of applied science in accounting and also graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
