Alliance Community Bank has hired Todd Fliss as the bank’s vice president of business development.  Fliss will be responsible for growing the mortgage lending business of Alliance Community Bank in markets adjacent to Menard County, while also helping customers with lending needs.  In addition, he will take a lead role in community and industry involvement with financial and mortgage education.

Fliss joins Alliance Community Bank after a long career in mortgage banking during which time he held executive roles with Wells Fargo, Citibank and U.S. Bank.  Most recently, he served as senior vice president and business channel head for U.S. Bank’s consumer direct business, which originated more than $3 billion in mortgages annually.

After more than 25 years of weekly business travel working with the national banks, Fliss has come home to Menard County where he and his wife, Ellen, have lived since 1992.

Alliance Community Bank is headquartered in Petersburg with full-service banking locations in Petersburg, New Salem, Athens and Springfield and a loan production office in Riverton.
