Daniel Fox, MPH, PhD, has joined Springfield Clinic as the director of clinical research, effective Dec. 31, 2018.

Fox’s background includes clinical regulatory compliance, lab management, writing and communication, and science. After receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public health from University of Illinois Springfield, he pursued his doctorate in pharmacology and neuroscience at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

His previous experience includes working as a clinical trial manager, project manager and regulatory operations manager/patent specialist at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., in San Diego, California.
