The board of directors for the Sangamon CEO program has unanimously approved new leadership. Nabih Elhajj, Sangamon CEO lead facilitator, has assumed the responsibility of program coordinator.

Elhajj has been with the Sangamon CEO program since 2015. He has served on the curriculum committee and mentor committee and is the founding member of the CEO vs Sharks annual event. In addition to his new coordinator role, he will continue to serve as the lead facilitator.

Elhajj is a UIS and a Eureka College alumnus. He has a master’s degree in public administration and a certificate in disruptive innovation from HBX, Harvard Business School.

The Sangamon CEO program has also hired of Kate Lingoni for the role of assistant program coordinator. Lingoni is a Louisiana native who has recently moved to Springfield. She will be assuming administrative responsibilities with the program. Lingoni has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Louisiana State University.

Sangamon CEO is an accredited high school program in Sangamon County. It is a one-year study of entrepreneurship and is a dual credit program with Lincoln Land Community College. The program first launched in 2013 and is funded by private donors.
