O’Shea Builders has hired Ellie Kasparie as a regional marketing coordinator, Mike Holst as an estimator, and Lori Owens as a receptionist. All three will be based in the Springfield office, located at 3401 Constitution Drive.

A native of Quincy, Illinois, Kasparie received a bachelor’s of science in marketing from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. While at SIU-C, Kasparie worked with the Housing Department as an academic peer advocate for two years and a resident assistant for her final year at SIU-C.

Holst received a bachelor’s of science in architecture and a master’s of science in sustainability and environmental resources from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. Holst has worked in the construction industry for the last five years in Decatur, Illinois. He was a part of the advisory board for the construction of a new baseball stadium at SIU-C, which is where he found his passion for the construction industry. He is married to Morgan Holst and currently resides in Decatur.

Owens is originally from Springfield and received a bachelor’s of science in management from the University of Illinois Springfield. Owens previously worked in the New Berlin School District at New Berlin Junior High for the past eight years as an administrative assistant in the principal’s office. She is married to Brad and has four children.

O’Shea Builders is a commercial construction services provider with offices in Springfield, East Peoria and Champaign. Founded in 1902, O’Shea provides general contracting, construction management, design build, civil and building maintenance services.
