The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, commonly referred to as Tax Reform, was recently signed into law affecting all taxpayers. The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Kerber, Eck & Braeckel to offer a tax reform seminar that reviews the many changes in the TCJA that will affect small and medium-size businesses and their owners.

This seminar will focus on the Tax Reform’s impact on both businesses and individuals with special emphasis on:

  • Reduced Tax Rates
  • Qualified Business Income Deduction
  • Enhanced Depreciation Rules
  • Modification and Simplification of deductions

A representative of the U.S. Chamber will also provide an update on federal issues surrounding budget negotiations and other hot topic legislation.

The seminar will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20 at the State House Inn. Buffet lunch will be served, and a Q & A session will follow the presentations.

Members of the Chamber may attend for $39 and can register at or contact Lisa Schafer at (217) 525-1173 ext. 203. Non-members are welcome for a $75 registration fee.
