Daphne Carter has joined the firm of Benjamin F. Edwards as a financial advisor. She previously worked with Edward Jones for more than nine years and at A.G. Edwards prior to that.
“I’ve been in the industry about 20 years,” Carter said. “Long story short, I put quite a bit of thought into this move. I had originally been with A.G. Edwards, so by making this move I’ve come back to the Edwards family. I feel it’s a really good move for my clients.”
A.G. Edwards, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, grew from a regional brokerage to one of the largest in the country before it was acquired by Wachovia Corporation in 2007, which was then sold to Wells Fargo the following year. Benjamin ‘Tad’ Edwards, the great-great-grandson of A.G. Edwards, went on to found the firm of Benjamin F. Edwards.
Carter and her husband live in Springfield and have a daughter who is a senior at Rochester High School. She and her husband both enjoy volunteering with the Cochlear Implant Awareness Foundation.
