Ameritech has obtained a permit to remodel their existing call center at 555 E. Cook St. The contractor is East Alton-based Helmkamp Construction Co., and the project is valued at $350,000.

Horace Mann Insurance has obtained a permit to remodel the second and fourth floor vending machine and break room areas of the office building located at 1 Horace Mann Plaza. The contractor is Springfield-based R.D. Lawrence, and the project is valued at $50,000.

Land of Lincoln Goodwill has obtained a roofing permit for silicone coating 530 squares of roof on their building located at 2531 N. Dirksen Parkway. The contractor is Athens-based Williams Roofing and Construction, and the project is valued at $92,942.

Springfield Metro Sanitary District has obtained a permit to demolish the old administrative building located at 3017 N. Eighth St. The contractor is Springfield-based Mccloughan Contractors, and the project is valued at $7,500.

Memorial Medical Center has obtained a permit to renovate the morgue located in the lower level lab building at 701 N. First St. The permit is for wiring 3,000 square feet. The contractor is Springfield-based B&B Electrical, Inc., and the project is valued at $293,536.

Palastra Real Estate Partners has obtained a permit for commercial construction for DaVita Dialysis at 600 N. Grand Ave. W. The permit for the 8,434 square foot building includes a parking lot. The contractor is Pruitt, E.L. Company, and the project is valued at $3,000,000.
