The following building and zoning permits were approved by the City of Springfield between Sept. 18, 2017, and Sept. 24, 2017:

Heritage Healthcare has obtained a permit to build a new portable storage unit at 900 N. Rutledge. The storage unit will be 240 sq. ft., and the project is valued at $6,400. The contractor is Heritage Healthcare.

Gurrinder Singh has obtained a permit to resurface and restripe the existing asphalt parking lot at G & M Package Liquor, located at 2200 South Grand Ave. E. The contractor is Sherman-based J. Mize Company, and the project is valued at $16,000.

McGraw Enterprises, Inc. has obtained a permit to remodel the McDonald’s located at 3250 S. Sixth St. The contractors are Prairie Contractors, Inc., based out of Frankfort, Illinois, and Schwartz Electric, based out of Pekin, Illinois. The project is valued at $650,000.

Richard Cross has obtained a permit to remodel the exterior and dining room of the Burger King located at 2651 S. Veterans Parkway. The contractor is KP Sullivan Builders, Inc., based out of Arcadia, Indiana, and the project is valued at $250,000.

Memorial Medical Center has obtained a permit to remodel the 3C ICU located at 701 N. First St. The contractor is Springfield-based O’Shea Builders, and the project is valued at $3,400,000.

Patriot Plaza LLC has obtained a permit for an interior remodel and framing work at Wise Finance, 2609 Adlai Stevenson Dr. The contractor is Cheunh Kwok, and the project is valued at $800.

Christina Mayo has obtained a permit for a commercial roofing project at Southwest Plaza, located at 3211 S. Veterans Parkway. The contractor is Sprayfoam Southeast, Inc., based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and the project is valued at $149,770.

Capitol Storage LLC has obtained permits to wire five mini storage buildings (buildings A, B, C, D and E) located at 500 W. Browning. The contractor is Springfield-based Egizii Electric, Inc., and the project is valued at $71,429.

Seritage Growth Properties has obtained a permit to install a wall sign at Orange Theory Fitness, located at 2450 W. Wabash. The contractor is Normal-based Prairie Signs, Inc., and the project is valued at $9,000.

Jeffers Enterprises has obtained a permit to install two menu boards and two pre-sell boards for the McDonald’s located at 501 South Grand Ave. East. The contractor is Mattoon-based Monitor Sign Company, and the project is valued at $2,000.

Simon Property Group has obtained a permit to install a sign for Halloween City, located at 2501 W. Wabash. Springfield-based Flamingo Kid Sign is the contractor, and the project is valued at $800.
