Building permit roundup - Aug. 2, 2017

The City of Springfield Building and Zoning department has approved the following building permits:

Cell phone carriers Verizon and AT&T obtained permits for a cell tower "collocation" at 2723 W. Monroe St. The work on the $98,000 project is being done by Effective Electric, Inc. and Communication Builders, Inc. Meanwhile, cell phone carrier T-Mobile obtained a permit to modify its existing cell tower located at 1614 S. MacArthur Boulevard. The project is valued at $12,000, with work being done by SAC Wireless.

HRDS Springfield IL LLC, registered to Leonid Chernoy of Brooklyn, New York, obtained a permit to convert the former Hardee's restaurant at 6001 S. Sixth Street Frontage Road East into a commercial storage building. The building will be used to store building materials and will not be rented out.

Brixmor Property Group obtained a remodel permit for 3417 Freedom Drive. A Brixmor representative said the space will hold the existing tenant, Mariner Finance. The project is valued at $160,000, and the contractor has not been named.

Larson Real Estate LLC obtained a permit for a tenant build-out at 3236 Ginger Creek to house Finley's Tap House. John Brewer Builders, LLC is the contractor on the $128,000 project.

Joyner Real Estate LLC obtained a permit for an interior renovation at 2302 Wabash Ave to house the Supplement Store. The project's valuation is $38,000, with Joyner Construction Services performing the work.

Anvil & Forge Brewery and Distillery renewed a permit to complete its remodel of 619 E. Washington. The contractor is Mike Zerkle, and the remaining work on the project is valued at $10,000.
