Sean Bull

Sean Bull has lived in Sherman his whole life, so it’s especially meaningful to him that he was appointed president of the Sherman Area Chamber of Commerce this month.

“This is the community I grew up in,” he said. “I’ve got a lot of love for the community and respect for the business owners in the whole town.”

Bull’s year-long term as president began July 6. A State Farm insurance agent, Bull says his first order of business is outreach, such as an event on July 20.

“I want to make sure the community is aware of who we are and what we do for them,” he said.

His long term goal is growth – both of the chamber and of the number of businesses in Sherman.

“Our dedicated board shares the vision that will continue to grow our presence in the business community,” he said.  “We have a great group of long-standing members, as well as several newer businesses and residents. The momentum that’s been created will continue to advance our mission of being an advocate, educating, and providing resources for our growing community.”
