The following building, electrical or other permits were recently approved for projects in Springfield by the City of Springfield Building and Zoning Office:

-Silverleaf Children’s Academy, 2715 S. Fourth St., obtained a permit for a 3,800-square-foot remodel. The contractor is Joyner Construction, and the project valuation is $80,000.

-Glen Garrison obtained a permit obtained a permit to build an entrance vestibule at Los Rancheros Restauraunte, 3458 Freedom Drive. The contractor is restaurant owner Jose Lopez. The project valuation is $20,000.

-Keith and Laurie Loukinen obtained a permit to remodel the interior at 517 S. Fourth St. for a restaurant to be named Loukinen’s On 4th. The contractor is Keith Loukinen.

-Enos Park Development, LLC obtained a permit to remodel the building at 711 E. Enos Ave. for a vanilla shell on the lower level and a one-bedroom apartment on the second level. The contractor is Calvin Pitts.

-Seritage Growth Properties obtained an interior non-structural demolition permit for 2450 Wabash Ave. The space will hold Orange Theory Fitness.

-MGM Jefferson Corp obtained a permit for an interior remodel at 719 W. Jefferson St. to house the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology. The contractor is Allied Plumbing & Heating.
