For the organizing committee and volunteers who have been planning and working since January, it’s impossible to believe that Relay For Life of Sangamon and Menard Counties is almost here!

The event begins with an opening ceremony at 6 pm Saturday, June 21, at Lincoln Land Community College. Relay For Life continues through the night and ends with a closing ceremony at 6 am Sunday, June 22.

Relay For Life is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society which honors cancer survivors, remembers loved ones lost to cancer, and encourages participants to fight back against this deadly disease.
